My background is eclectic to say the least - I worked for many years as medical research scientist, before forming my own company. When I'm not working I try to attend as many art courses as I can in lieu of the fine art degree I would love to do if I was given the time. I'm currently studying with Jackie Yorke in Carmarthen. My work is influenced mainly by the beautiful parks and countryside here in West Wales. I tend towards using acrylic paint on board or canvas, and I love the block color, naive style of painting that seems to popular with many Welsh artists currently.
